Police Respond to Emergency Call Outside City Hall

The Claremont Police Department responded to a call at 8:18 am on January 24, 2012 regarding a male who was laying unresponsive in front of the Council Chambers at City Hall (207 Harvard Ave.). Officers and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to find a male who was pronounced deceased. The death is currently under investigation by the Claremont Police Department, and has been identified as a local, well-known homeless man, Phillip Green.
